HARVEST
The 2019 harvest was exceptional for red wines and required more work for the
whites. The year began with a dry end of winter, with little rain, followed by a
hot and dry summer. These conditions contributed to early maturation and a high
concentration in the grapes, resulting in wines with great intensity and character. In short,
2019 was a year warmer than the historical average and with sanitary conditions
excellent.
TASTING NOTES
COLOR: Bright ruby red with violet hues.

and black tea.

white.
ALAYA Malbec is ready to drink and can easily be stored for 4 to 5 years.
It goes well with, for example, beef, duck or processed cheese.
SERVE AT: 16°.
DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN
CURICO: The Curicó Valley is located 200 kilometers south of Santiago. This region
has an ideal climate for the production of both red and white wines, thanks to the
proximity to the sea and the Andes. The composition of the soil varies between clay, sand and
granite, which allows for greater water retention capacity, helping the vines to
survive without problems during dry and hot summers. It is known for being one of the
oldest wine regions, with vineyards over 100 years old.
