Alaya is the place where wine finds its resting place, a cellar where it is preserved and evolves.
Inspired by the Buddhist concept of alaya as “deposit” or “dwelling”, this wine holds in
each bottle an expression of its vintage and the work of those who produced it.
HARVEST
In 2023, both reds and whites enjoyed excellent health conditions
and exceptional qualities. The winter brought more water than in previous years, but the
average temperatures were higher, allowing us to start harvesting earlier than
than in previous years. The result was fresh, balanced wines that reflect
fully the objective of the winemaking team at Viña Marty
TASTING NOTES
COLOR: Bright greenish yellow.
SCENT: Expansive and vivid. Aromas of grapefruit, citrus flowers in general.
TASTE: Fresh, juicy. The same notes found in the aroma persist: Aromas
citrus, citrus blossom. The persistence in the mouth is accompanied by a good acidity, which
balances the wine.
ALAYA is an aperitif Sauvignon Blanc that invites you to have another glass. It is
ready to be enjoyed.
SERVE AT: 8°-10°C.
DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN
VALE DEL CLARO: The Valle del Claro is little known in Chile, but it has conditions
excellent for the production of high-end wines, due to the specific characteristics
of the terroir. This valley is located between the Curicó Valley and the Maule, about 30 km away
towards the Andes Mountains, bordering the river that bears its name. During the
