ALAYA VARIETAL CABERNET SAUVIGNON - 2021

In 2022, both reds and whites showed excellent health and exceptional qualities. The challenge was the water deficit, which resulted in low yields in each valley. As nature is kind, although there were heat waves from late December to January, average temperatures were lower, which helped achieve balanced ripening. The harvest began in early March with the Chardonnays from the Claro Valley, and we finished in the third week of April with the Carmenere from Cachapoal. The result was fresh, balanced wines that fully reflect the objective of the winemaking team at Viña Marty.
