HARVEST
In 2023, both reds and whites enjoyed excellent health conditions
and exceptional qualities. The winter brought more water than in previous years, but the
average temperatures were higher, allowing us to start harvesting earlier than
than in previous years. The result was fresh, balanced wines that reflect
fully the objective of the winemaking team at Viña Marty.

DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN
VALE DEL CLARO: It is little known in Chile, but has excellent conditions for
produce high-end wines, due to the specific characteristics of the terroir. This valley is
located between the Curicó and Maule valleys, about 30 km towards the Cordillera dos
Andes, along the river that bears its name. We find a great variety of
types of soil, predominantly clayey. In terms of climate, it has a
a feature that is not very common in other valleys, which is the morning fog in the summer, which
helps maintain the natural acidity of the wines, very similar to what occurs in the region of
Sauternes in France.
